We're taking the theatrical fun outdoors this month!
On July 18, Talking Horse Productions will be at Stephen's Lake Park Amphitheater to share some of the best features our theatre has to offer in a safe, socially-distant, way. Bring a chair, bring a drink, and prepare for some outstanding comedic improv and vocal performances.
We'll kick off at 3pm, with Talking Horse's newest improv troupe, The Ponies, for some family-friendly fun in the style of "Whose Line is it Anyway?" Be prepared to laugh out loud and toss out suggestions to keep our actors on their toes. Your ideas will make up the content of the show and everything will be made up on the spot.
At 5pm, Audra Sergel accompanies some of the top vocal talent in mid-Missouri in a special cabaret. Join us for powerful and amusing songs that will be sure to lift your spirits.
Finally at 7pm, Talking Horse's long-form improv troupe, The Stable Boys, take the stage! If you haven't yet caught a performance, get prepared for full scenes of comedy gold made up on the spot!
*We encourage all our guests throughout the day observe social distancing guidelines and leave space between guests. We also strongly recommend all guests wear masks whenever possible.*
**This event is FREE and open to all but donations are suggested. The suggested donation is $10 per person, but we would be very grateful for additional generosity. Guests are welcome to attend this event at anytime and stay as long as they want.***
